IPMAN Proffers recipe to curb fuel scarcity

Federal Government of Nigeria has been urged by the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN)  to decentralise loading of petroleum products so as to create an environment for effective loading at depots across the country.

National President of IPMAN, Chief Lawson Obasi, on Sunday, disclosed to reporters in Port Harcourt that spreading of petroleum products to other coastal depots across the country would end the scarcity.

Obasi, stated that a situation where government only distributed petroleum products to tank farms in Lagos was partly responsible for the scarcity and high cost of product, therefore calling for a review on the policy by the federal government so that marketers would have unlimited access to petroleum products for distribution to final consumers.
