Juventus block move for West Ham target

Juventus coach Massimo Allegri has blocked a January move for West Ham target Simone Zaza.

The Hammers tried to bring the Italy striker on loan in the summer – and are now seeking a loan deal for the rest of the season with an agreement for a £13.2 permanent deal in the summer. Watford and Norwich have also watched the former Sassoulo forward who is fourth choice at Milan.

But Allegri said: “He’s a player with great quality, who has improved a lot and is important for us. It’s right that he stays with us.

“We have four strikers with great quality, who are good together and are fighting for places. That’s part of the package at a great club.”
