Chelsea have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of the Italian tactician, who is ready to extend his contract beyond 2017 as he still gets “great pleasure” from the role
Allegri, 48, has been linked with a summer switch to Chelsea, who have yet to fill the vacancy left by Jose Mourinho’s departure.
Allegri, however, is set to remain with the Bianconeri, who will meet Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.
“The conditions for Allegri’s contract renewal are all there,” Marotta told La Domenica Sportsiva.
“Allegri has done very well. The cycle has just started with him and I believe we can continue with him.
“On top of that, finding a club better than Juventus isn’t easy. I think that he can still get great pleasure from this team, thus there is no Allegri problem.”
Allegri’s deal in Turin expires in 2017, but an extension would see him commit his long-term to the club.
