N’Golo Kante revealed Maurizio Sarri has told the Chelsea players to stop being big-time Charlies against the small fry before a month of huge fixtures against the top teams.
And the World Cup winner hinted the Italian coach is also not happy with his team’s performance in training.
The former Napoli coach detained his bipolar Blues in the dressing room following the humbling midweek defeat at Bournemouth.
And for the second time in a month, the Chelsea stars responded to Sarri’s rallying cry by dismantling Huddersfield with Eden Hazard and Gonzalo Higuain in inspiring form.
They also beat Tottenham to reach the Carabao Cup final after the Arsenal defeat.
Sarri admitted he had never worked with such an unpredictable squad. It was notorious for sabbatical seasons but now takes random time off and the coach obsessively repeated the need to improve his side’s “mentality”.
Chelsea have lost five Premier League matches this season, including against Wolves , Leicester and Bournemouth.
