Flying Eagles coach Paul Aigbogun has attributed the Eagles semi-final defeat to Mali at the ongoing Africa U20 cup of nations to hard luck.

The Flying Eagles lost to Mali following Wednesday’s 4-3 shootout after both sides had drew level 1-1 after extra time.

Aigbogun speaking in a chat with www.bril.net after the match said that the game was as tough as envisioned from the beginning and a perfects semblance to the semi final game between both countries at the WAFU cup last year in Togo which also ended 1-1 after extra time with Nigeria benefitting from a shootout win then only to be at the receiving end of shootout defeat now.
