The Super Eagles of Nigeria have beaten the Syli nationale of Guinea to qualify for the round of 16 in the ongoing AFCON 2019 tournament.
A header by Kenneth Omeruo from an awarded corner kick taken by Moses Simon gave the Super Eagles a lead in the 73rd minute into the second half.
Samuel Chukwueze came in as a substitute for Iwobi who gave a good performance but could not find the back of the net.
Paul Onwuachu replaced Ighalo in the 88th minute of the match, with Musa being the captain of the side as Mikel remained on the bench all through the game.
The Guineans put in a good fight but ended up loosing three points to Nigeria who are the first team to qualify in their group into the round of sixteen, having six points.
