Jose Mourinho finally makes decision about his next club

Jose Mourinho has set his sights on a return to Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

The former Manchester United and Chelsea boss has been out of work since last December and recently joined Sky Sports’ punditry team.

Real are continuing to stumble under Zinedine Zidane, following up their opening day win over Celta Vigo with a disappointing draw against Real Valladolid last weekend.

Zidane returned to a club in turmoil in March, but is yet to sufficiently steady the ship despite a host of big summer signings.

Spanish outlet AS claim Mourinho is watching developments at Real closely and believes there could be an opportunity for him to replace Zidane.

There was hardly a dull moment during Mourinho’s three-year spell at Real, but the Portuguese only managed to win La Liga once while he was in charge.
