Frank Lampard has suggested Chelsea will receive the verdict of their appeal against a transfer ban in the coming days.

The Blues were handed a two-window transfer ban which is due to run until the summer.

They have appealed with the Court of Arbitration for Sport to be able to conduct business from next month, but are still awaiting a decison.

Lampard said: “I haven’t heard any more but I will wait and reserve judgement until we get any news and then see where we go from there. We’ll find out very soon – days, I think.”
