CHELSEA have received a boost in their hunt for Wilfred Zaha after he hired super-agent Pini Zahavi to help secure his move away from Selhurst Park, according to reports.
The Crystal Palace winger is looking for a way out of the club having failed to secure his dream move last summer.
Zaha, 27, was so angry at Palace’s refusal to let him leave that he went AWOL from training but was given reassurances that he would be sold during or at the end of next season.
Chelsea remain keen admirers as boss Frank Lampard plots to land a new winger as long-term replacements for Willian and Pedro.
And the latest revelation will hand the Blues a huge boost with Zahavi tasked with engineering his move.
According to the Daily Mail, Israeli agent Zahavi has close ties with Chelsea and is even mates with owner Roman Abramovich.
The 76-year-old has some of the biggest names on his books including Bayern Munich frontman Robert Lewandowski.
