COVID-19: Cases in Nigeria rise to 1,182 after 87 new cases

The number of confirmed cases of  coronavirus infections in Nigeria has risen to 1182.

This is after 87 new cases were reported on Saturday night.

Of the latest reported cases, 33 were in Lagos, 18 in Borno, 12 in Osun, nine in Katsina, four in Kano, another four in Ekiti, three in Edo, three in Bauchi, and one in Imo.

On the same day, 10 patients on treatment were released from hospital, raising the total number patients discharged to 222.

So far Nigeria has recorded 35 deaths, according to the country’s Centre for Disease Control.
