A notorious “naked carpenter” with a history of exposing himself in public while claiming to be a naturist has received another prison sentence.
Robert Jenner laughed and called himself “Mr Inappropriate” when he was confronted by officers in January this year, who spotted him strolling through Maidstone in “transparent” mesh trousers.
This came just months after his release from prison part-way through a two-year sentence for 10 indecent exposure offences, according to Mirror.
The ex-soldier, who gained fame for his carpentry exploits in the nude, claims that the problem lies with those who are offended by his nakedness and not with him.
Now 45, Jenner appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday to be sentenced for indecent exposure, breaching a criminal behaviour order and sending an offensive communication.
Prosecutor Daniel Stevenson revealed yesterday that, shortly after being released from custody, Jenner sent a friend request to a woman who had provided police with a statement after she spotted him out running in nothing but trainers.
Having tracked her down online, Jenner said: “You might want to come clean or I will sue.”
The messages left the woman “concerned and anxious” he would turn up at her home, the court heard.
Judge Smith said: “You have shown no reflection or remorse and claim the problem is with those who were offended by your actions and not your actions themselves.”
Jenner is a serving prisoner at HMP Garth in Lancashire, having been recalled.
For the latest offences he was jailed for 12 months.
