The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced dates for reopening of worship centres in the state.

Mr. Sanwo-Olu also expressed his joy over the progress Lagos has made in the fight against the spread of the pandemic.

The governor in a tweet from his official account stated that: “I am happy to announce the progress we are making in our fight against #COVID19 and the current decline in cases.

“In view of this, we have taken the decision to reopen places of worship from August 7 for Muslims, and August 9, for Christians.

“All worship centres are expected to accommodate worshipers whose numbers should not be more than 50% of their regular capacity”, he said.
