President Muhammadu Buhari informed Southeast leaders on Friday that the fate of pro-Biafra leader Nnamdi Kanu will be decided by the court.
During a meeting with South-East leaders, including the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, at Government House in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Buhari urged the South-East leaders to allow the ongoing court process in the country to settle the separatists’ issue.
Buhari stated that the court’s decision was required in the subject, and that Kanu’s case should be appropriately resolved in the law court.
He also expressed concern over the region’s deteriorating security situation.
Some persons in the region, he claims, have brainwashed and incited many others against the government.
