The beheading of Okechukwu Okoye, an Anambra lawmaker, has been described as an act of lawlessness and barbarism spreading across Nigeria.
Okoye’s head, but not his body, was discovered on Saturday in Nnobi, Anambra State’s Idemili South Local Government Area, days after he was kidnapped.
Shehu Sani, in response, called the behavior harsh and condemnable.
According to him, the heinous murder demonstrates that lawlessness has spread throughout Nigeria.

“In all regions of the country, lawlessness and barbarism have spread.”
