Burna Boy explains why Toni Braxton will receive 60% royalties from his song "Last Last"

The American recording artist Toni Braxton will receive 60% of the earnings from Burna Boy’s most recent hit, “Last Last,” according to the Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, also known by his stage name Burna Boy, in a recent interview.

During his participation on The Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Burna Boy made this admission while responding to inquiries about how the song was created.

Toni Braxton’s 2000 R&B hit, “He Wasn’t Man Enough,” was a sample that the self-styled African giant said he had always wanted to use. He eventually convinced music producer Chopsticks to make it happen.

Burna Boy also disclosed the release date for his sixth studio album, which is set for July 8, 2022.

Nineteen songs featuring both domestic and foreign musicians are included in the album titled “Love Damini.”

Songs that he had previously released are included on the album, such as “Last Last,” which is thought to be about his breakup with UK rapper Stefflon Don.
