The coach of Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel, expressed his regret that his crew had to take a bus to get to Leeds on Sunday, where they lost.
Brenden Aaronson, Rodrigo Moreno, and Jack Harrison scored the goals as Chelsea lost 3-0 at Elland Road, an outcome that stunned many.
Nevertheless, the German manager, Tuchel, claimed that the difficulties his team was having actually began on Saturday when the coaching staff had to take a bus to get to Leeds.
“Everything that can go wrong, did go wrong,” Tuchel told the BBC. “It started yesterday [Saturday]. We had no plane to arrive so we came on the bus.
“The players could fly but for the coaching staff it was a long ride on the bus. It continued today.”
The Blues would have moved up to second in the league standings with a victory over Leeds United, but Thomas Tuchel’s team is still stuck in 12th place with just four points from three games.
