Bournemouth will sell Callum Wilson to Chelsea this January if the Blues meet their £75million asking price, according to report by metro.co.uk
Wilson is being targeted by Chelsea as the Blues bid to relieve the pressure of delivering goals from talisman Eden Hazard.
After a blistering start to the season, Hazard’s has scored just three times since the end of October and Maurizio Sarri has asked for extra firepower this month.
The Daily Star claim Bournemouth are willing to do business with Chelsea, but only if they can match their asking price.
Publicly Bournemouth have insisted Wilson is not unsettled or for sale, but privately the club will accept an offer above £70m for Wilson.
Chelsea were prepared to pay as much as £50m for Wilson, but Bournemouth’s demands may force the club to look elsewhere.
While the Blues continue to eye Wilson, Sarri sees Gonzalo Higuain as the No.1 target.
The AC Milan striker is thought to be keen to reunite with Sarri at Chelsea, but the club have a long-standing policy not to spend big on players over the age of 30.
