Chelsea star N’Golo Kante may remain at Stamford Bridge if manager Frank Lampard’s latest declaration is anything to go by.
Kante, 29, has developed into one of the best defensive midfielders in the world since helping guide Leicester City to Premier League glory in the 2015-16 season.
He has gone on to win another league title, the FA Cup and the Europa League since moving to Chelsea and still has three years left on his contract.
However, the World Cup winner will be 32 years old by the time his contract runs out and there have been suggestions that the Blues would consider offers for Kante this summer.
Spanish giants Real Madrid and French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain have been among the clubs linked with a big-money move for the popular midfield maestro, Mirror reports.
But Lampard seems keen to keep hold of Kante and has labelled him “one of the best players in the world”.
