Chelsea are reportedly set to try and break Lyon’s resolve by offering £40million plus Olivier Giroud in a bid to sign Moussa Dembele.

Former Celtic striker Dembele has attracted the attention of Chelsea , Manchester United and Arsenal after scoring 10 goals in 18 Ligue 1 appearances so far.

But Lyon issued a statement last week insisting they have no plans to sell Dembele, who is contracted to the club until 2023.
