Cubana Chief Priest hints on what will happen to music as Davido threatens to quit following alleged hatred over father's wealth

Nigerian pop star, Davido has said that the hatred for him in the music industry is because his father is rich.

Davido said this after a fan wrote that artists in the music industry hated him because he was born rich. “I agree now the envy is too on this lad. He didn’t ask to be born rich, all he wants to do is make good music and leave a legacy.”

Davido, responding to the comment, said on his Twitter page; “Everyone knows this is the truth!!! 10 years I have been fighting this shit! But I swear nobody ‘go see me finish again!’

Davido had also threatened to leave the music industry after a fight with Burna Boy on Sunday night at Twist Night Club, Ghana.

According to reports, Burns Boy was allegedly angered as the DJ in the club continued to play different songs by Davido, despite the fact that Wizkid and Burna Boy were in the club.

The brawl was alleged to have started after Burna Boy reportedly moved towards Davido’s camp in the club.

So far both Burna Boy and Davido’s camp have kept mute over the alleged brawl at the club in Ghana despite videos that have surfaced online as The Punch has reached out to them but to no avail.
