Former Jonathan’s aide, Gulak, shot dead in Owerri as gunmen attack immigrations office in Abia

Ex- Political Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak, has been shot dead in Owerri.

The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was shot by gunmen in Imo state, the capital.

Though details of the incident are still sketchy, it was learnt that Gulak was shot while returning to Abuja from Owerri.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Immigration Service head office located in the Ubakala axis of Enugu/Port Harcourt Expressway was reportedly attacked a few hours after the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Abia State Police command was razed by gunmen.

A resident of the area disclosed that there was a huge shooting in the area between the attackers and security operatives.

He said there was panic in the area as fear had gripped residents of the area when the incident happened Saturday evening.
