West Ham have been offered the chance to sign former Liverpool and Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli on a free transfer this summer.
The Italy international is out of contract after leaving Marseille at the end of the season and is open to a return to the Premier League.
The 28-year-old had only been at Marseille since January, scoring an impressive eight goals in 12 Ligue 1 appearances, but the club chose not to extend his short-term deal.
This leaves Balotelli looking for a new side and his agent has offered his services to the Hammers, according to the Mirror.
West Ham are in serious need of making signings in attack after Marko Arnautovic, Lucas Perez and Andy Carroll all left the club earlier this summer.
According to reports in Italy, Javier Hernandez is also wanted by Fiorentina and the Mexican is keen on a switch to Serie A.
If he were also to leave east London, then the Hammers would just be left with Jordan Hugill and Andriy Yarmolenko in their forward line.
Hugill has made just three Premier League appearances since his surprise move from Preston in 2017, while Yarmolenko has not played since October due to an Achilles tendon injury.
