Manchester United star Paul Pogba will undergo a scan today to determine the severity of an injury sustained in the dying moments of the club’s draw with Burnley on Tuesday night, Metro.co.uk reports.

The Frenchman was limping heavily in United’s dressing room after taking a knock towards the end of the 2-2 draw at Old Trafford and required treatment from medical staff.

Pogba got United back into the game when he converted from the penalty spot five minutes from time at the Theatre of Dreams but there was no clear sign of the moment he sustained the injury.

The 25-year-old has been in sensational form since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over the reins from Jose Mourinho, scoring six goals in eight appearances under the Norwegian.

However, United now face an anxious wait for the results of today’s scan with the club fearing Pogba has sustained a thigh injury.

The Red Devils travel to Leicester City on Sunday before a clash against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Februray 9th.

While United could navigate those games without Pogba, Solskjaer will be desperate to make sure he’s fighting fit for the visit of Paris Saint-Germain to Old Trafford on February 12th.

Pogba missed three months of last season after sustaining a hamstring injury in United’s Champions League group stage clash with Basel in September 2017.

The midfielder struggled with muscle injuries at Juventus and United were reportedly unhappy with the Frenchman’s use of a private trainer last season, which they felt contributed to his injury issues.
