Popular Nigerian artist, Chakka DaSouljah, calls out GTBank over half a million Naira unauthorised account deductions

Nigerian music star Chaka DaSouljah has called out one of Nigeria’s top commercial banks, Guarantee Trust Bank plc, over alleged unauthorised deductions from his account maintained with the financial institution.

According the the artist;

“Actually, I visited one of the GTB branches on the mainland and requested for a new ATM card. It was after they activated the card and I left the bank that all the unauthorized/ fraudulent transactions took place.

“A total of half a million naira was withdrawn from the account. It happened on the 21st of April 2021.

“All attempts to get my money has proved abortive as I have been to the bank several times to that effect.”
